Located in Westwood Village, Koala T Cafe is a purveyor of handcrafted and authentic Szechuan cuisine made for food lovers of all kinds.

The earliest vision of Koala T was born out of the UCLA campus when two students sought to cater delicious, quality eats and boba to their fellow Bruins, college students who appreciated a well-crafted meal at a reasonable price. Since its conception, Koala T Cafe and its menu has grown - all at the hands of the renowned Chef Liu.

His work in the kitchen has led him to win multiple awards including national competitions in China and the Bocuse d'Or Competition in France, a biennial world championship in culinary arts. Chef Liu has prepared food for several of the world's finest dignitaries and here in Westwood, he helps to serve up authentic, handcrafted Szechuan cuisine to the greatest customers.

In addition to being the home of an award-winning chef, Koala T strives to become a leading fixture within the Westwood community. Our work with UCLA-based organizations through fundraisers and sponsorships are a testament to our commitment to create relationships with the student body of nearby campuses.

Our space is also perfect for any and all types of customers. Our flex casual program during lunch hours makes dropping by for a meal easy for the busy professional or those needing quick and delicious meals.

Korean BBQ marinated tri-tip, pico de gallo, guacamole, jack and cheddar cheese, sriracha mayo, and lime sour cream over golden-brown french fries with a green onion and cotija cheese garnish. A Koala T specialty and fan favorite.


POPCORN CHICKEN                               $6.95
Marinated, battered fried chicken tossed with a balanced blend of salt and pepper powder.
